Happy New Year!

It’s that time of year again. You know me, I love making lists and New Year’s resolutions fit perfectly into that category. Every year my friends and I sit down and work out our resolutions for the following year and do a review on how we did in the previous 12 months.

I know that might sound like a lot of pressure, but we usually add some wine, cheese and chocolate to the mix, and we’ve had such success with the process that it is actually something we really look forward to doing. And yes, I really do mean that we keep most of our resolutions.

I’m not sure how it has worked out that way. Perhaps it is the accountability that comes with sharing the goals with friends that keeps us on track. Maybe it is the thought that goes into devising the resolutions in the first place that gives us an advantage because clearly they are goals we are ready to commit to pursuing.

The only one we haven’t had much luck it as winning the big interstate lottery jackpot. But that’s okay. If we manage to make all of our other goals for the year, we’ll feel like it’s still a pretty good year.

What are my resolutions? There are quite a few personal goals, but I can tell you that getting the complete first season of the web series shot and publishing “My Letter to Fear” are both at the top of the list. So, get ready to read more observations from me on that process in the coming months (and fingers crossed).

How about you? What resolutions are at the top of the list for you?
