Pen and I held a strategic planning meeting last night. I’m not going to lie– there were some difficulties. Some of the stumbling blocks were beyond our control and some relate to the fact that we just don’t know what the goals should be anymore. Still, we ate some homemade cookies, did some snacking and drank some lovely Amarone. In the end, we came up with some tentative steps to get us moving again. And then she came across this and emailed it this morning.

 

 

I’m not sure I anticipated Thomas Jefferson* weighing in on our struggles, but sometimes it is the unanticipated interjection that spurs motivation. Let’s hope so!
