I’m on the hunt for comfortable boots for women. If you’ve been reading this site for any length of time you now know two things about me: 1) I love boots and 2) I hate hiking. But I’m thinking that I might hate hiking a little bit less if I had comfortable walking/hiking shoes to wear.
That much-longer-than-advertised trek into Eaton Canyon would have probably been slightly more comfortable if I hadn’t gone in flat, no support, fabric with thin sole shoes. I’m not saying it would have been a picnic—I still would have complained—but it would have been better.
Likewise, my romping around Southern California for the travel pieces would probably be more successful if I didn’t do it in flip flops. I mean, it’s really no wonder that my knees hurt after a day wandering and reporting.
So, I’m heading over to http://www.schulershoes.com to find some comfortable boots that even my temporarily re-located stylist Meghan would approve of. Naturally, while I’m over there looking at practical things, I’m also seeing some things that I might just like as Christmas presents (since the media keeps telling me it is right around the corner).
No decisions yet, but I think it’s time I started treating my feet (and ankles, knees and hips) to a little comfortable footwear. I’m not going to commit to hiking the canyons with the boy just yet, but I might be slightly more inclined to meander around the neighborhood. No promises.
