Who Makes the Rules?

A bloody mary in the morning is perfectly acceptable. A mimosa is considered elegant. But order a double whiskey before 9am, and there’s an intervention-worthy scandal brewing. Who makes these rules?

Not that I’m contemplating drinking at 9:22am. No… that happened much earlier.

Not surprising, I’ve done this. Not a double whiskey, that’d be indulgent. But a shot in the morning on my way to breakfast? You bet. OF course in fairness to me, I was on vacation and it was a shot of whiskey leaning up against a bar that was once owned by Wyatt Earp. Yeah. THAT Wyatt Earp. Ordering anything else seemed sissy, don’t you think?
