Merlot Me!

The MerlotsTomorrow is international Merlot Day. No, I’m not kidding, this is a real thing. I don’t care what Sideways said, it’s time to celebrate with your favorite Merlot. October 10th kicks off a month long celebration involving more than 100 Merlot-producing wineries from around the world. There will be dinners, in-store special tastings and Merlot-paired restaurant menu items all month long.

Are you in San Francisco? A spectacular event is planned at the Observation Post at the Presidio Trust (211 Lincoln Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94129) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. According to the event planners: “Twenty wineries known for their passion for producing outstanding Merlot will be pouring their signature bottlings alongside library offerings and accompanied by light appetizers and awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace of Fine Arts, Alcatraz, Crissy Field, and Marin Headlands.”  For more details: https://merlotmesf.eventbrite.com/
