Bed Days

When was the last time you had a “bed day” just for fun? I’m not talking about those days where the state of your life is so depressing that getting out of bed is physically impossible. I’m talking about a day where you just decide not to get out of bed because you want to enjoy the many wonders of relaxation (or whatever it is you are doing in there).

Personally, I’m very pro “bed days,” particularly when my schedule is about to become chaotic. There is something about being able to just relax, read, write and nap (and perhaps eat cookies) for a day that is actually focusing for me. Too often I’m running in a lot of different directions in order to get things done for me or for other people. So, a “bed day” where I just allow myself to focus on me is pretty appealing.

What about you guys? What do you do to focus your minds and/or relax?

As a side note, I haven’t been in a dance class in years, but check out that turn out! I’ve still got it. I don’t have the energy to use it, of course, but I’ve still got it!

I used to call those days my Bewitched days, as in, meh, I can’t go in to work today because I haven’t seen this episode of Bewitched.

So are we talking solo bed days or shared bed days? Oh so very different. I have had the I just can’t face the world days often lately, but I do recall the I’m just that decadent days as well.

Hilariously enough, I was debating the merits of doing this tomorrow. (May do it on Sunday so I can get stupid things done tomorrow and properly enjoy Bed Day.)
